Publication criteria
Before a work enters the record
- Scope is explicit. The work states whether it addresses philosophy, theory, simulation, measurement, protocol design, or empirical findings.
- Continuity is not inferred from resemblance.Claims distinguish subjective persistence from memory, behavior, emulation, or reconstruction.
- Alternatives are confronted.Competing explanations and observations that would weaken the claim are presented.
- Methods are inspectable.Assumptions, materials, code, data availability, and limitations are documented where applicable.
- Status is unmistakable.Conceptual work, preprints, reviewed publications, replications, corrections, and retractions are labeled distinctly.
